Newcastle Weighing Services Pty Ltd was established in 1976 and currently employees 27 staff. The Information Technology division of the company commenced operation in 1984 and has been developing industrial weighing and inventory management systems since that time.

 

Newcastle Weighing Service’s IT division has the capabilities in house to design and develop both software and hardware solutions for our clients. No part of our system development is sub-contracted to third parties and after sales support is provided in house by a dedicated team of six IT professionals. Since our inception we have installed hundred’s of custom and “off the shelf” systems through out Australia and have built a close and trusted relationship with many of our clients over years of association. A large proportion of our systems sold today are initiated by referrals from existing customers.

 

Newcastle Weighing Service’s can offer a large range of “off the shelf” systems and has extensive experience in the design and development of custom systems. Our experience includes the design and development of management information systems, industrial control systems, batching systems, inventory management systems, security systems, weighbridge management systems, traffic control systems, grading and labelling systems. Our systems are used in a wide variety of industries including bulk material handling (mines, power production, grain etc), food processing and grading, waste management and quarry management.
